George C. Miller
George Miller was an Associate Member of our outfit, a Pilot with the 147th Hillclimbers at Vung Tau.  In 1965 and 1966 the first three Chinook units in Vietnam were the 1st Cac, the 147th, and the 178th, and there were infusions of personnel between all three units, so a number of men served in more than one unit, and had friends in more than one unit.  George was a close friend of our Josh Logan, after Josh transferred from Phu Loi to Vung Tau; he attended our reunion at Dothan, Ft. Rucker.  He was born in Michigan, served twenty-six years in the Army plus sixteenyears as a civilian maintenance contractor at Ft. Rucker; he passed away in Enterprise, Alabama in 2016
